Bridesmaid’s bouquets normally match and complement the bride’s bouquet but are smaller and less intricate. Some brides choose a similar but smaller bouquet for their bridesmaids but others like the bridesmaids to have a bouquet which is much simpler and incorporates only one colour or even just a simple bouquet of gypsophilia. There may be occasions when a statement can be made with the bridesmaids simply carrying one flower. Smaller bridesmaids or flower girls could carry a basket or pomander or have a wrist corsage as they are easier to carry. Whatever your requirements we can provide what you choose.

Hairpieces can be made with fresh flowers either attached to a comb or hairband for the bride, bridesmaids and flower girls or we can provide you with your chosen flowers to attach to clips for your hair.

FAQ

  • I have a 3 year old flower girl, what would you suggest she has for her flower arrangement? With young children it is best to choose something they don't haave to hold in their hand. They could have a gypsophilia pomander which they hold over their arm and if they pull some of the flowers out it doesn't matter as there are lots in the arrangement. They also quite like swinging it around but it is quite robust. a wrist corsage would work too but sometimes the flowers can get pulled out by little fingers. I can however glue them in.
  • What flowers work best in hair arrangements? Heavier flowers can be problematic in hair arrangements as the weight can cause them to fall out so it is probably best to go for gypsophilia and rose buds rather than a large rose. I can give you a better idea of what would work when I know your choice of flowers.

Lovely people and professional service, I felt like I was listened to and the flowers matched the colour scheme perfectly! The flowers and the centrepieces were so beautiful and really created the rustic, vintage, springtime feel that we wanted. I would certainly recommend Bouquets and Buttonholes to anyone who wants a personal touch to their special day!
